Home of the 1988 Olympic games, offers you exhilarating cross-country outings on over 60km of world-class cross-country and biathlon trail systems. Also used for for mountain biking and the 24 hours of adrenaline mountain bike race. The ride up is worth the time.

One of Canmore's most famous trails for hiking. Waterfalls, Devonian coral cliffs and 2 beautiful mountain filtered lakes. Named after Lawrence Grassi, and Italian immigrant who forged many of the original trails in the Bow Valley. Ride to the trail head just beyond the Nordic Center, to see the waterfalls from the parking lot.

This 5.5 km paved one-way trail (11.0 km round trip) and passes through a mix of forest and meadows with scenic viewpoints along the way. This trail connects the Canmore Boat Launch to Three Sisters, is entirely paved fully accessible, and is maintained year-round! Stop into the Stewart Creek Golf Course while you are there.

One of our key connectors at the heart of our trail network. This is a very popular area for biking and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people on the trail. This partially paved/gravel trail takes you across the Bow River and across several bridges, including the historic Canmore Engine Bridge. This trail can be connected to other nearby trails for a longer experience, such as the paved West Bow River Pathway. Follow the trail to the Canmore Golf and Curling Club for lunch on the patio.

This paved loop with 64 m of elevation gain explores westside of Canmore. This trail can be a fun cardio exercise due to the relatively large elevation gain. If done clockwise, you ascend on a partially forested path beside Benchlands Trail, descend on a path next to Cougar Creek, and loop back using the relatively flat trail beside Bow Valley Trail. The trail can be done counterclockwise for an equally enjoyable experience.
Trail head runs from The Shrine Church of Our Lady of the Rockies to the Silver Tip Golf Curse. Explore paved trails above the course itself. This can be combined with the Benchlands Trail.
